Zomato, Facebook, Google – This has to bloody stop!
Companies/Startups work extremely hard to build their reputation online. Grabbing eyeballs on social media to build up an audience, providing extremely good customer service to get a great review is what makes the day for a lot of ethically working professionals.
It is a shame that loopholes are being exploited and being monetized this way. It could be some scripts/bots working behind in the scenes or some young college students trying to make an extra buck, either way, these tactics end up harming a brand in the long term.
If you are a company/brand/individual(solopreneur)/small digital agency owner being approached by such characters, you need to ignore and not fall for the trap. Anything that looks too good to be true usually is.
